Namaste
Hi, I’m Linda Hoffey, the President of Corporate Calm Yoga. I am a wife and mother of 2 boys, and a lover of family, nature, hiking, beaches, dogs, and chocolate desserts.
“Walking on Sunshine” is my favorite song, but listening to all the music makes me happy.
A Corporate Career
I spent my career at Home Box Office (HBO) in the entertainment industry as a Sales Trainer. I planned, facilitated, and attended dozens of conferences, trade shows, and company events, to train and motivate my sales teams. It was a fulfilling career, though balancing work and family life brought its challenges.
During one corporate meeting, HBO organized a yoga class before a presentation. I was amazed by how much better I felt—physically and mentally—after 30 minutes. That experience sparked a personal journey to explore the value of yoga and mindfulness for my body and mind.
When I added yoga and mindfulness into my daily routine, I saw a dramatic improvement in my health and my quality of life. This newfound passion led me to earn my RYT 200-hour yoga certification. With the support of my husband and my business partner, I became a certified yoga instructor, and I started Corporate Calm.
My joy is bringing wellness to companies—large and small, from Fortune 500 to small start-ups. My goal is to lead or create programs to share with you about yoga, mindfulness, and wellness, specifically for your workplace.
I Add Value to Your Meeting
I jump on stage at your event between speakers. I engage with your audience. Tell some jokes. Lead simple exercises to decompress and re-energize your employees. Meetings are hard. I help you lighten their load. I also lead morning yoga sessions to start the day. Or when the guys are golfing. I add real value to your company or corporate meeting. Do you have an open slot on your agenda? Slot me in!
What I don’t do is talk about revenue, product development, security, or AI. My focus is on your employee’s health. Their mental clarity, lost energy, improving productivity, and how to calm those precious employee minds.
Everyone needs this direction. Sometimes we have learned it is better when that message comes from a guest speaker like me, not just the CEO.
Let’s talk about how Corporate Calm adds value to your company, along with booking based on your schedule. Please feel free to reach out to me or our Director of Client Services, Sandra Chowdhury.
